Chorus Director

The Grand Central Chorus invites applications for the post of Chorus Director. Four times men’s British Barbershop Chorus Champions our continuing aim is to achieve ‘A’ standard in all that we do. We therefore seek an experienced choral director, male or female, to help us achieve this and to entertain our audiences.

We rehearse on Wednesday evenings in Long Eaton, Derbyshire.

Musical Director Wanted

A group of enthusiastic and experienced lady barbershop singers (ex-“Velvet Harmony”) are desperately seeking a new Musical Director as ours has retired.

We would like to develop our skills with the aim of performing at sing-outs and eventually competing locally and nationally.

We already have a great repertoire of well-known songs and Christmas carols. We currently meet on Tuesday evenings in Orpington, Kent. Barbershop experience is desirable but not essential.

Members of LABBS (Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers)
are looking for a

Musical Director

To replace our current Director who has worked for us for 5 years. We are a Barbershop Chorus of 40 ladies who meet and rehearse on Tuesdays at 7.45 pm, in Welwyn Garden City, Herts, which is within easy reach of the A1M (J5). We are a lively, friendly Chorus who entertain regularly at local private and charitable functions. We also compete annually at our national Barbershop Convention.

Do you have good directing and communication skills, with an artistic flair, good musical knowledge, along with a sense of fun? Preferably, you should be familiar with the Barbershop style of singing. Expenses will be met.
