The Regional Management Team are delighted that you will be joining us for this year’s fantastic Quartet of Nations education event featuring Åse Hagerman and Alba Show Chorus – Feel the Earth Move!

Programme

Click here for the programme for the weekend and also full class descriptions so that you can pick your preferred classes in advance. The classes that we anticipate will be most popular will be held in the Arnhem Gallery, which seats 400. The other rooms seat 100 each and places will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If you have any questions about the contents of the classes then please contact the , Valerie Taylor, who will be able to advise you.

Symposium Chorus

Names were selected to give the right balance of parts and also to give priority to members of smaller choruses. Please check to see if your name is on the list. If it is, please bring something black and/or white and sparkly to wear in the Saturday show!

Free Quartet Coaching Opportunity!

Master Director Glenn Chaney, Regional Faculty and Director of Lace City Chorus, is running a closed coaching session for one complete quartet attending the education event on the Saturday afternoon. Any quartet attending the workshop can apply and those that wish to must do so at the Registration desk on Friday evening. The lucky quartet will be announced on Saturday morning.

Registrations

Registrations will be available to collect from the Quartet of Nations desk in the Fairfield Halls from 6pm on Friday 17th October.

Note: Please bring your Quartet of Nations Lanyard to hold your registration badge. A small number will be available for purchase at £1.50 to replace those lost or stolen.

Parking

For those driving to the venue the nearest multi-story car park is the Fairfield Halls NCP car park, Barclay Road, CR0 1JN. Tariffs are: 2 Hours £3.00, 2 To 4 Hours £4.50, 4 To 6 Hours £7.00, 6 To 24 Hours £11.50, 1 Week Pass £32.00. There are many other large multi-story NCP car parks within easy walking distance of the venue which can be found on the NCP website.

Catering

A buffet lunch will be provided on Saturday. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided at the breaks and water will be available throughout the weekend. Dinner is not provided but there are many restaurants in Croydon catering for all culinary tastes, as well as nearby supermarkets for those who prefer to buy their own food.

Tickets for Saturday Show only

There are a very limited number of tickets on sale for the Saturday show for those unable to make the rest of the workshop. These tickets do not include access to any workshop sessions and cost £10. Please register in advance with Eileen Milne, to secure a ticket.
